Hopefully your internet provider gives you a static IP address. If your internet provider gives you dynamic IP addresses, that won't be useful to point the domain name servers (DNS) to. It may point to another customer tomorrow. To see what IP address you are being given, point your browser to www.whatsmyip.com . Use this IP to set your DNS. You will need to add or edit two "A records" that point to this ip address. The first A record to add would be the @ (primary naked record), and the next one to add would be the A record www. This ensures both icbot.com and www.icbot.com go to the ip address listed. See the below DNS records circled in yellow.
Once you edit these DNS records and save them, it takes about 3 hours or so to take effect. In the mean time, we need to redirect port 80 (www traffic) received by your router, to your raspberry Pi. On my router, its located under the advanced tab, advanced settings, then Port Forwarding. On this screen we need to add a port forwarding service. Select HTTP from drop down list, enter address of your raspberry pi, then click ADD. This will add a TCP port 80 for www traffic to be forwarded toward your raspberry pi.
